PartnersHP (formerly the Hunger and Poverty Prevention Partnership of Portage County) is pleased to announce the availability of 2 – $1,000 scholarships. Scholarship applications for 2025 will be accepted beginning February 1, 2025.
The members of the Partnership intend for the scholarship to be given to two students who exemplify community service and the values of our Partnership. Recipients are selected based on applicant community and school service, volunteer activities, personal essay, and references. Graduating high school seniors who are residents of Portage County are eligible to apply.

The Partnership was formed in October 2000 with members working on issues around hunger and food insecurity in Portage County. Over the years, there was growth in this group, and in April 2006 the Partnership expanded to include poverty issues. Teams are continuously developed to help address and solve hunger and poverty issues that face Portage County.
Our mission: We partner with our community to GROW food, FEED people, and HOUSE families. Hunger and poverty prevention is possible with Partnership.
